Specialists from the Ministry of Health of Ukraine explained whether it is possible to inject a vaccine into an area of ​​the skin where there is a tattoo, and whether such a vaccination carries health risks.

To maximally protect your health, you need to get vaccinated against various infectious diseases. Often, the injection with the drug must be done in an area of ​​the skin where some people may have tattoos, NBN reports.

Specialists from the Ministry of Health of Ukraine assured that the vaccine can be administered to an area of ​​the skin where there is a tattoo, both intramuscularly and subcutaneously, this will not pose a health risk.

However, if it is possible to administer the drug to a similar area where there is no pattern, it is better to do so accordingly. As doctors explained, this will make it easier to track reactions after vaccination, such as swelling and redness.

The Ministry of Health reminded Ukrainians that they should contact their family doctor to get vaccinated or consult on vaccination issues.

As reported, the head of the Ministry of Health Viktor Lyashko said which disease among Ukrainians has become 10-15 years younger due to war and stress.
