A representative of the defense department reported on the national telethon that the “second army in the world” maintains an advantage in shells at the front front, but it has decreased almost threefold since winter, NBN reports.

Gavrilyuk clarified that a few months ago the ratio of artillery ammunition use on the battlefield was 1:8, today it is 1:3 in favor of the Russian invaders.

According to him, it is difficult for our country to compete with the Russian Federation in the production of shells, weapons and military equipment, since the terrorist state has greater industrial potential.

The Deputy Minister of Defense added that this is precisely why the support of allies and the creation of joint enterprises with partners for the production of the necessary weapons are of decisive importance for Kiev.

Recall that the German publication Handelsblatt stated that Western allies handed over defective ammunition to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which exploded prematurely.
