On Tuesday, October 1, Ukrainian journalist Andriy Tsaplienko reported in his Telegram channel that the invaders installed the flag of the aggressor country in the eastern part of Vuhledar.
He also published a corresponding video in which the occupier waves the symbol of the terrorist state from the window of a destroyed building, NBN reports.

At the same time, advisor to the Mariupol mayor Petro Andryushchenko, referring to the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, stated under these footage that the Russians have almost reached the city center.
The head of the Center for Countering Disinformation of the National Security and Defense Council, commenting on footage of the Russian tricolor in Ugledar, confirmed that active fighting continues in the city, the situation is grave.
Kovalenko is convinced that the “liberators” showed their flag in the window so that the Russians would traditionally pass this episode off as the capture of a populated area.
Recall that the former deputy head of the General Staff named the reason for the significant deterioration of the situation around Ugledar.
