The former head of the White House, in an interview with the American publication The Washington Post, commenting on the meeting with Zelensky, said that he has a good attitude towards him and “he likes” the leader of the Ukrainians, NBN reports.

The Republican boasted that during his presidency, the Kremlin dictator “did not seize anything.” The politician claims that the head of the Russian Federation began to think about a full-scale invasion of Ukraine after Biden withdrew US troops from Afghanistan in 2021.

Trump believes that Putin “made great progress” and “seized most of Ukraine,” despite the huge losses of his occupation troops.

The US presidential candidate believes that one of the biggest problems is that European states are allegedly “sliding downhill” and are not investing in NATO on an equal basis with his country.

Earlier, the publication Рolitexpert stated that Zelensky's ambitions did not find a response in the States. The media analyzed Zelensky's visit to the United States, commenting on the failures of the Kyiv representative in the diplomatic field.

Recall that Western journalists claim that Trump is collecting arguments to invalidate the elections if Harris wins.
