The head of the defense department said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, and the State Security Service are a closed perimeter during martial law, so all processes in these structures must be clear and controlled without any influence from within or without, NBN reports.

As the head of the Ministry of Defense explained, it is in this context that he is making personnel changes – dismissing four of his deputies. The official reported that Stanislav Gaider will receive the position of head of the Minister’s Office, and Lyudmila Daragan, Yuri Dzhigir and Alexander Sergiy will be appointed state secretaries.

The minister also reported the transfer of Spetstekhnoexport from the Main Intelligence Directorate to the Ministry of Defense, in addition, the changes will affect the activities of AOZ and GOT. The corresponding reforms will help to carry out state purchases according to NATO standards.

Earlier, the media reported that Umerov dismissed two deputy heads of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, Kirill Budanov, without first consulting with the general.
