PFU reported how many long-lived pensioners live in Ukraine

According to the classification of the World Health Organization (WHO), elderly people are considered to be persons aged 60 to 75 years, and 90-year-old citizens are considered to be long-livers.

As reported by “NBN” with a link According to the “age” statistics published on the official website of the Pension Fund of Ukraine (PFU), there are at least 100,000 long-livers in our country, who are people who recently celebrated their 90th birthday (more than 1,000 elderly citizens “crossed” the 100-year mark).

In particular, according to the data of the social and pension department, at the current moment in the Ukrainian state there are 108,603 long-livers, of which 1,316 people are over 100 years old (women – 1,150 and men – 166).

Also, according to information available to Pension Fund analysts, the oldest person in Ukraine is Mrs. Ekaterina, who lives in the Manevytsky community of the Volyn region – tomorrow, October 3, the long-liver will turn 108 years old.
