The people's deputy believes that the authorities need to start taking radical measures to solve the problem, the NBN publication reports.
The secretary of the Verkhovna Rada committee claims that the president and the head of the Ministry of Defense need to take responsibility for recruiting people into the army and use “different methods” to increase the number of personnel in the Defense Forces.
The people's deputy proposes increasing the motivation of Ukrainians to sign a contract with the defense department, as well as lowering the draft age. He explained that now the Armed Forces of Ukraine “recruit everyone in a row”, and as a result, there is no one on the battlefield, since there are many people in the army who are only partially suitable.
The deputy warned that if appropriate measures are not taken, mobilization in Ukraine will “go into the red.”
Recall that last month, the head of government Denys Shmyhal named new conditions for receiving economic reservations from mobilization.
