As reported by “NBN” with a link to the Telegram channel “Khortytskyi Viter”, the command of the Defense Forces officially confirmed the withdrawal of the Ukrainian army from Vuhledar in Donetsk region.
As explained in the operational-strategic group of forces (OSGV) “Khortytsia”, despite the colossal losses suffered in prolonged battles, the “second army of the world” did not abandon its intentions to capture Vuhledar.
In an effort to control this city at any cost, Putin's troops managed to redirect reserve forces to carry out attacks from three flanks, which, as a result, weakened the defensive potential of the Armed Forces of Ukraine units, provoking the emergence of a threat of taking Vuhledar into operational encirclement.
The military added that the high command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine granted permission to carry out a maneuver concerning the withdrawal of units from Ugledar, aimed at preserving personnel and armored vehicles, with the subsequent occupation of bridgeheads for conducting retaliatory military operations.
