As reported by “NBN” with reference to Wiadomosci, the head of the Polish Defense Ministry Kosiniak-Kamys once again emphasized his intention to block Ukraine's European integration due to the issue of the Volyn tragedy.

According to Kosinyak-Kamysh, Kyiv needs to recover the bodies and ensure memorial events for the victims of the Volyn tragedy.

At the same time, the head of the Polish Ministry of Defense will not raise the issue of military support for Ukraine, since this indirectly affects both the spheres of humanity and the security of the neighboring state, but the problems of the economy or history should be discussed with Kiev.

Kosinyak-Kamysh emphasized:

Ukraine will not join the EU, I will not give my consent if it does not resolve the Volyn issue.

In addition, the Polish official summed up—even if Brussels agrees to Ukraine’s membership in the EU, representatives of the “Polish Peasant Party” will oppose it, unless, of course, an exhumation is carried out, with a simultaneous commemoration of the victims.

Earlier, we wrote about how the Polish Ministry of Defense responded that it was preventing the formation of the “Ukrainian Legion.”
