As reported by NBN with reference to the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), the day before, on October 4, the Ukrainian army continued its offensive operation on the territory of Glushkovsky district in the Kursk region.

Analysts from the Institute for the Study of War noted that Russian “war correspondents” claimed that military actions were ongoing near Vesyoloye (south of Glushkovo), but the defense department of the aggressor country assured of something else: Putin's troops allegedly repelled all attacks by the Defense Forces near Novy Put (south of Vesyoloye).

One of the so-called “war correspondents” reported that Putin's army recently recaptured its previous positions near Vesyoloye, but was unable to carry out identical actions near Medvezhye (southeast of Glushkovo).

Thus, intense fighting continued yesterday at the key “Ukrainian bridgehead” in the Kursk region, but no confirmed changes were recorded on the front line.
