As reported by “NBN” with reference to the official website of the Security Service of Ukraine, the above-described actions of law enforcement officers (with the participation of the National Police, the Military Law Enforcement Service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the National Guard) will cover the entire city.
Such an operation of the SBU provides for the timely prevention and neutralization of threats of intelligence and subversive activities against Ukraine, with the simultaneous prevention of provocations and increased security of citizens against the backdrop of the Russian Federation invasion.
During such events, restrictions on passage/travel on the streets, as well as checking of documents of the population and inspection of cars are likely. If reasonable suspicions arise regarding certain individuals, their additional check may be carried out. Also, the territories and premises of public places are inspected to detect prohibited items/objects.
The SBU asks citizens to be understanding of the inconveniences and to respond appropriately to the legal actions/demands of the defenders. For example, to carry identification documents with them and to observe the curfew.
