As NBN reports with reference to Radio Liberty material, the day before, on October 4, US President Joseph Biden stated that the decision on what response Israel should take against Iran has not yet been made by the White House.

According to Biden, if the US were in Israel's place, they would think through alternative options, in particular, excluding strikes on oil fields.

At the same time, the American leader separately added that the Israeli government has not yet decided “what it is going to do” in response to a massive attack ballistic missiles of Iran, carried out on Tuesday, October 1.

However, Biden noted that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu should remember Washington's support for Jerusalem when making any decisions regarding subsequent steps.
