As NBN reports with reference to analytical material from GizmoChina, the cost of manufacturing the new iPhone 16 Pro Max smartphone has increased by 7 percent, if we compare with the previous line of identical Apple devices.
In particular, we are talking about the full cost of components from which the premium iPhone model with a memory capacity of 256 GB is assembled: the cost of producing this type of “gadget” is $485, which is $32 more expensive than the iPhone 15 Pro Max (cost price – $453). It is assumed that the increase in price is due to the adjustment of prices for the most “valuable” elements of the iPhone 16 Pro Max – the display and the main camera unit (80 US dollars, or 16 percent of the total cost of the “apple device”).
It should be noted that it was the camera that went up in price the most, the purchase price of which increased by 10 dollars, compared to the previous generation. Additionally, the cost of RAM and solid-state drives has increased by nearly $5.
