After tightening the mobilization legislation, the Ukrainian Armed Forces still feel a shortage of personnel, and it has been repeatedly proposed to financially, rather than punitively, stimulate the recruitment of potential servicemen.

As NBN reports with reference to the Kyiv-24 Telegram channel, according to Igor Krivosheev, a member of parliament from Servant of the People, the process of “luring” volunteers into the Defense Forces with “big money” is fundamentally wrong, since such a method is inherent exclusively to a terrorist state, and it is not suitable for Ukraine.
According to Krivosheev, the Russian authorities consider it normal to attract the population of “depressed” regions with huge payments for signing a contract with the Russian Ministry of Defense, however, this is “not our methods.”
“Servant of the People” is confident that Ukrainians are ready to fight “for their land and for their ideology, for the right to live freely, as free people,” and, accordingly, stimulating with money will not work, even if Western partner states agree to help with funds, since this is “the wrong motivation.”
