The head of the Russian Foreign Ministry, in an interview with the American publication Newsweek, said that Moscow will end the so-called “special operation” when “threats emanating from Ukraine will be eliminated,” NBN reports.

The head of the Russian Foreign Ministry recalled that earlier, Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin listed the prerequisites for Russia to end the war: Ukrainian forces must be completely withdrawn from the territory of Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson and Zaporozhye, in addition, Kyiv must recognize these regions as part of the terrorist state.

According to Lavrov, the neighboring country allegedly responded to the Russian leader's proposals for a “peaceful settlement” with an offensive in the Kursk region. Putin's ally said that Kyiv is “driving Ukrainians to the slaughter,” despite the fact that “the costs of the conflict are greater for Ukraine.”

Once again, the head of the Russian diplomatic department complained that NATO countries want to inflict a strategic defeat on his country. He added that in such conditions Moscow is forced to continue the “SVO” to “eliminate threats from Ukraine.”

Recall that Putin's spokesman Dmitry Peskov commented on the dictator's threats to change the Russian Federation's nuclear doctrine.
