The head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration said on the national telethon that before a full-scale Before the Russian invasion of Ukraine, 1 million 900 thousand people lived in the region. As of today, the population of the region is 340 thousand, NBN reports.
According to the official, more than 30,000 people have left Pokrovsk, where fierce fighting continues. Today, 12,000 adults and 82 children remain in the city.
At the same time, more than 1,400 civilians remain in Toretsk, where Russian occupiers have entered the eastern outskirts, and people are leaving the settlement very slowly.
Filashkin reported that 17,800 adults and 368 children remain in Konstantinovka. Due to the difficult situation, the authorities have introduced a strict curfew in the city, which begins at 15:00 and ends at 11:00.
