The head of the CPD commented on the night “bavovna” on the territory of the Russian Federation in his Telegram channel. He said that in the area of the city of Karachev, a strike was carried out on the 67th arsenal of the Main Missile and Artillery Directorate of the Defense Ministry of the aggressor country.
Kovalenko said that the Russians were storing shells, in particular guided aerial bombs and North Korean ammunition, in the warehouse, which is located just 114 kilometers from the Ukrainian border and is the closest to the front line. The lieutenant specified that part of the ammunition was stored in the open air.
According to satellite footage from 2021, this GRAU warehouse occupied an area of about 3.5 square kilometers.
Recall that last month, the “bavovna” visited two GRAU warehouses of the Russian Ministry of Defense near the city of Toropets in the Tver Region within a few days.
