As reported by NBN with reference to RND material, Major General Christian Freuding, who is the head of the Special Staff of Ukraine under the German Ministry of Defense and is responsible for issues of coordinating support for Kyiv, the German parliament has positively resolved the issue of extending funding for our country for 2024.

According to Freuding, the above-described actions will allow Germany to implement at least 50 projects during this year for a total of 1.4 billion euros. In particular, thanks to the implementation of this type of support, Ukraine will be able to consistently receive air defense systems, tanks and artillery ammunition (the production of 1.5 million shells is planned).

The major general added that such efforts by allied countries will help to significantly improve the situation with ammunition for the Defense Forces:

Russia's artillery advantage has decreased from 8 to 1 in the spring to 3 to 1 at the moment.

Earlier, we wrote that Pistorius declared that German troops are ready to contain Russian aggression in Europe.
