As NBN reports with reference to Ukrinform sources, Budanov's hackers carried out a corresponding attack on the North Caucasus Federal University, which trains UAV operators, digital communications specialists, and physics engineers for Putin's army, and also disabled a number of identical facilities.

According to the source, Ukrainian military intelligence attacked a total of 11 websites, more than 7,000 service computers, and 135 servers/file storage facilities.

To “mask” the key focus of this GRU cyber strike, the intelligence officers first carried out a series of attacks on target Internet resources and file storage facilities of enemy organizations, gaining access to the network infrastructure of the aggressor country, publishing propaganda materials on the hacked pages in support of the offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

As a result, the GUR managed to significantly weaken the educational and scientific base of the Russian Federation, while simultaneously depleting the potential intended for the retraining of Russian military specialists: the internal infrastructure of the North Caucasus Federal University was damaged, websites, databases and file storage facilities occupying more than 150 terabytes were destroyed.

Earlier, we wrote about the fact that an unknown person burned down the regional FSB department in Novosibirsk.
