The serviceman called the situation in Toretsk critical. According to him, the enemy has stopped senselessly using equipment, since it can be destroyed by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, and has started using FPV drones for reconnaissance and combat missions, NBN writes, citing Channel 24.

Ievlev noted that the tactics of the Russian Armed Forces' assaults have also changed. He said that the invaders attacked Avdiivka in groups of 50-70 people, but now in Toretsk the enemy is sending groups of 10-12 occupiers, who are covered by UAVs and artillery.

The defender noted that Putin's army has “clung” to the city, but there is not a single surviving block there, all the buildings have suffered from the “scorched earth” tactics.

The Russian invaders are destroying everything in their path, so the Defense Forces fighters are forced to retreat to positions where they can defend themselves or create a trench. The occupiers are covering the settlement with mortars, artillery, KABs and drones, and, having destroyed everything to the ground, they enter it.

The military added that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have been able to establish a front line south of Toretsk for more than three weeks. Here, the fighters have taken up positions where they can hold off frontal attacks by the Russian Armed Forces.

Recall that the head of the Toretsk GVA reported how much territory of the settlement is currently controlled by the Defense Forces.
