Fedorov explained why the IAEA is unable to control the situation at the Zaporizhzhya NPP

Since March 2022, the Zaporizhzhya NPP, which is the largest in Europe, has been seized by “liberators” who have placed military equipment and ammunition on the site, and have also set up firing points.

As reported by NBN with reference to the Voice of America material, the head of the Zaporizhzhya regional military administration Ivan Fedorov explained that the group of observers from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) present at the Zaporizhzhya NPP is simply not capable of monitoring the situation at this nuclear facility.

According to Fedorov, the current situation at the Zaporizhzhya NPP has not undergone too radical changes, and remains within the stable-critical limits. At the same time, the IAEA inspectors, since they are “civilized people” and not invaders, can only observe/monitor, but not control everything that happens at this important nuclear facility.

The head of the Zaporizhzhya OVA emphasized that it is necessary to prepare in advance for the worst-case scenario, since the Russian occupation forces can deliberately carry out anything at the Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Plant, any provocative actions.

Earlier, our information portal wrote that Budanov was informed about the explosion of the car of the “chief of security” of the Zaporizhzhya NPP in Energodar.
