As NBN reports with reference to the material of Consumer Intelligence Research Partners (CIRP), analysts have managed to determine that purchasing Apple smartphones is the best investment among mobile devices.
According to the report, iPhone owners are more likely to resell their “devices” or hand over their smartphones to the trade-in program, receiving significant benefits for such actions.
According to the social survey, 41 percent of iPhone users were able to sell their old devices or exchange them at Apple service centers in order to receive a discount on a new model. Another 40 percent of respondents kept their “mobile phones” as backups or passed them on to their immediate circle. Only 19 percent of owners got rid of their obsolete “gadgets” in another way.
Thus, according to CIRP experts, Apple smartphones retain their value for a long time, if compared with other brands: about 17 percent of owners of used Android devices managed to convert them into money, and 53 percent of users left/gave the devices to relatives and friends.
