A representative of the “Lugansk” OTGV called the situation in Toretsk difficult, dynamic, constantly changing on the air of the national telethon. There is a fight for literally every entrance and every street in the city, “NBN” reports.
According to her, the occupiers control the eastern and southeastern parts of the settlement, active battles are underway for other areas, the defenders are holding back the Russians.
Bobovnikova reported that the “liberators” are storming Toretsk in small groups of 5-7 fighters, who are covered by mortars, artillery and FPV drones. For the “second army in the world”, such tactics are effective, since the command of the Russian Armed Forces does not count the losses of manpower and is indifferent to the lives of their soldiers.
The speaker of the OTGV drew attention to the fact that fortifications were created near the city. These fortifications should help the Defense Forces hold back the Russians and save the lives of soldiers if they have to retreat from the city.
