On Monday, October 14, the Russian Armed Forces launched a ballistic attack on the port of Odessa, the head of the regional military administration Oleg Kiper spoke about the consequences of the shelling.

The head of the OVA wrote in his Telegram channel that today the invaders again fired Odessa ballistic missile, the target of the attack was the port infrastructure, NBN reports.
The head of the administration said that as a result of the strike on the regional center, 1 person was killed and 8 were injured. All the victims were hospitalized, 2 of them are in serious condition. The official specified that the deceased and the injured are Ukrainians, workers of the port infrastructure.
The head of the OVA added that there is damage to the port infrastructure, in particular, a warehouse with grain was damaged. In addition, foreign civilian ships were damaged – “NS Moon” and the dry cargo ship “OPTIMA”, the latter was also damaged a week ago as a result of a ballistic missile strike.
As reported, the Armed Forces of Ukraine explained why the Russian occupation forces began to attack the Odessa region with missiles more often.
