The press service of the 11th Army Corps of the Ground Forces responded to media publications regarding the appointment of a former people's deputy to the post of commander of the unmanned systems battalion of the 63rd separate mechanized brigade.

According to the military, the personnel changes were made based on a petition from the commander of the 63rd separate mechanized brigade, NBN reports.

The Defense Forces explained that the former people's deputy had proven himself well during his two years of service in this brigade. During Lyashko's tenure in positions related to UAVs, work was organized to repel a significant number of mechanized assaults, which were accompanied by the loss of hundreds of units of equipment and personnel of the army of the aggressor country.

The press service added that last month the BBS of the 63rd separate separate brigade entered the 10 units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the most effective destruction of manpower, military equipment and other means of the Russian occupation forces using UAVs.

Recall that the media learned the reasons for the dismissal of the deputy head of the OPU Rostislav Shurma.
