On Tuesday, October 15, at the opening of the exhibition “Energy in industry-2024” Litvinenko reported that Ukraine is preparing for large-scale shelling of energy facilities by the Russian Federation as winter approaches.
This was reported by the NBN publication with reference to the Interfax-Ukraine agency.
The Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council predicts that with the start of the heating season, massive attacks by the “second army of the world” on the energy system of our country can be expected.
Considering the repeated shelling of critical infrastructure by Russian invaders, as Litvinenko noted, the energy sector of Ukraine has demonstrated its ability to implement innovative solutions. Thanks to this, the terrorist state has not yet been able to destroy the economy of our country.
Recall that the head of the Ministry of Energy, German Galushchenko, said that he will give a 100% guarantee of protection of Ukrainian energy facilities from destruction as a result of Russian attacks.
