An officer of the 59th separate motorized infantry brigade on the air of the TV channel “Espresso” reported that the Pokrovsk direction remains one of the hottest on the front, over the past 24 hours alone, more than 25 assaults on Ukrainian Armed Forces positions by the occupiers have been recorded, “NBN” reports.

According to Tsekhotsky, the Russian invaders in the Pokrovsk area of Donetsk Oblast are trying to advance before the rainy season begins. The task of his brigade is to contain the enemy and exhaust him.

The serviceman noted that the “second army of the world” is throwing in all the reserves it has to occupy as much territory as possible before the weather conditions worsen.

A representative of the 59th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade drew attention to the fact that the Russian Armed Forces were unable to capture Pokrovsk head-on, so they chose a different tactic – to bypass the settlement from the north and south. The defenders need to be very vigilant, as the enemy is constantly conducting reconnaissance in force.

Earlier, the “Luhansk” OTGV told what the Russians are concentrating on in the Donetsk region instead of preparing for the winter season at the front.
