The Russian Investigative Committee reported that a man was killed and a woman was injured in the explosion, without disclosing the cause of the explosion. At the same time, social media reports say that a grenade went off.

The spokesman for the Ukrainian Volunteer Army “South” Sergey Bratchuk commented on the news from occupied Lugansk. According to him, as a result of the car explosion, the Chief of Staff for the Service of Troops and Security of Military Service of military unit 53847 of the Central Military District of the RF Armed Forces, Major Dmitry Vladimirovich Pervukha, was eliminated.
