During August-October of this year, about 490 Internet operators stopped providing services due to the impossibility of continuing to work under the simplified taxation scheme.

As reported by “NBN” with a link to the material LIGA.NET, member of the board of the “Internet Association of Ukraine” Alexander Harutyunyan said – the increase in prices for access to the Internet for the population of the country will be carried out in several stages, the first of which will come soon.
According to Harutyunyan, due to the abolition of the simplified taxation system for Internet providers (after the adoption by parliament of the law on a significant “historic” increase in taxes for businesses and the population), companies will have to raise prices for their services, since it is necessary to compensate for additional costs. In particular, the next upward adjustment of tariffs is expected in December-January.
This “improvement” is explained quite simply:
- Internet providers now pay more to the state budget;
- the number of employees has decreased due to increased mobilization;
- additional specialists need to be hired to maintain accounting records.
