As NBN reports with reference to the AS material, according to the head coach of the Spanish Girona Miguel Angel Sanchez Munoz “Michel”, a stable recovery Ukrainian midfielder Viktor Tsygankov, like other players of the Spanish club, is hampered by the short breaks between national team matches.

Michel said that it is still concerned about the problems of Tsygankov and several other players (David Lopez, Solis and Yangel Herrera), since it is difficult for them to “go out onto the field” every three days in a number of tournaments.

The head coach of Girona emphasized:

The fact that we play in three tournaments, plus national teams, probably has an effect. We will work to prevent this from happening, we monitor the minutes, we rotate… I am worried about Tsygankov, who was in great shape.

It should be noted that medical specialists warned that Tsygankov would be able to return to the field 5 weeks after the injury.
