As reported by NBN with reference to the official X-account of the UK Ministry of Defense, military intelligence analysts predict that over the next few weeks, Putin's troops will try to achieve some progress near Kupyansk in the eastern part of the Kharkov region.

According to British military intelligence, the “second army of the world” has stopped a few hundred meters from the Oskol River, approximately 20 kilometers south of Kupyansk.

The British Defense Ministry believes that the incessant attacks by the “liberators” are complicating the operations of the Defense Forces on the eastern bank of the Oskol, and for this reason, on October 15, the Ukrainian authorities announced the evacuation of the civilian population from a number of settlements in this area.

It should be noted that after the summer counteroffensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in September 2022, the Russian Armed Forces from time to time took actions aimed at returning control over Kupyansk, since the city is located on Oskol, and is a railway junction supporting “Ukrainian operations in this area.”

Earlier, we wrote that the Ukrainian Armed Forces revealed the priority task of Putin's army in Kupyansk direction.
