As reported by NBN with reference to information posted by the Russian Telegram channel ASTRA, explosions were heard in the area of the plant named after Ya. M. Sverdlova, located in Dzerzhinsk (Nizhny Novgorod region), after which thick clouds of smoke rose over the city, as, judging by everything, a fire broke out.
According to eyewitnesses, the target of the drone attack was the above-described enterprise, which is subject to sanctions, since it produces explosives, and also specializes in the manufacture of charges for the mining industry and identical materials for seismic and geophysical activities.
According to local authorities, despite the fact that the air defense allegedly repelled this attack on the territory of the Dzerzhinsk industrial zone, four employees of the fire department located on the territory industrial enterprises – light shrapnel wounds.
