During an interview with Fox News, a journalist asked Harris what she intends to step away from in her presidency, given her campaign slogan of a “new path forward,” NBN reports.
According to the Democratic presidential candidate, she sees the need to overcome the polarizing rhetoric that has intensified over the past 10 years, including the years of Donald Trump's rule.
The politician said that she would not “continue” the rule of the current head of the White House, but would bring fresh ideas, personal and professional experience, calling herself a “new generation of leaders.”
Harris never explained what she would change in the Biden administration's policies, given the opinion of most US citizens that the White House is moving in the wrong direction.
Recall that Harris' opponent Donald Trump commented on information about his communication with the head of the Russian Federation after he left the presidential chair.
