Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, in a comment to propaganda media on Monday, October 21, neither denied nor confirmed reports of the transfer of North Korean troops to training grounds in Russia for preparations for participation in the war against Ukraine.

This was reported by NBN with reference to the Russian propaganda agency Interfax.

According to Peskov, Moscow sees “a lot of contradictory information.” Putin's spokesman noted that the DPRK says one thing, and then the US Department of Defense says that they have no confirmation of Pyongyang's statements.

The Kremlin dictator's press secretary called North Korea a “close neighbor” and “partner” of Russia. The official said that the countries are developing relations in all areas and this should not cause concern for anyone, since cooperation between Pyongyang and Moscow is allegedly not directed against third countries.

As reported by the media, the Russians sent military personnel from the DPRK to positions on the border of the Kursk and Bryansk regions, from where 18 North Korean fighters escaped.
