As NBN reports, citing the opinion of analysts at the Washington-based Institute for the Study of War (ISW), it has become known what goals the Kremlin tyrant Vladimir Putin is pursuing and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in addition to Xi Jinping, are the central figures of the BRICS summit.

In particular, India managed to return 85 of its fellow citizens from the Russian war against Ukraine, but Modi, during the BRICS summit in Kazan, intends to discuss with the Kremlin elite the process of returning home another 20 Indians.

At the same time, dictator Vladimir Putin has set himself other goals: the Kremlin, judging by everything, seeks to use BRICS for another demonstration of its efforts aimed at strengthening global ties with “non-Western” states and, probably, concluding agreements and integrating trade mechanisms that will help the Russian Federation maintain the scale of aggression in Ukraine by softening the impact of anti-Russian sanctions by the EU and the US.

Earlier we wrote that Modi, at a meeting with Putin, spoke about a “peaceful settlement of the conflict” in Ukraine.
