Как сообщает «НБН» со ссылкой According to the material of Radio Liberty, the head of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine Viktor Lyashko stated that he is not going to resign due to the above-described situation that has developed around the “work” of the Medical and Social Expertise Commission.
According to Lyashko, it is much “easier” to write a resignation letter than to reform the Medical and Social Expertise Commission. In addition, the head of the Ministry of Health does not feel political responsibility for the scandals in these commissions, since he is not part of the “MSEK vertical”, and also does not appoint/dismiss the heads of regional structures, that is, the Ministry of Health is nothing more than a regulator.
In particular, Lyashko pointed out that as a minister, he can only appoint the head (already dismissed) of the Central Medical and Social Expert Commission.
The head of the Ministry of Health summarized:
…We saw that it was necessary speed up our work [on reform], and in these 2 months everything that we expected to implement in 2025 will be made up for.
