Russia has relocated its aircraft beyond the ATACMS radius of destruction — Pentagon

Western leaders have not yet reached a consensus on the issue of lifting restrictions on Ukraine's long-range strikes on military targets located in the rear areas of the aggressor country, which the Russian Federation has managed to take advantage of.

As reported by “NBN”, citing a Fox News article, the head of the US Defense Department (Pentagon) Lloyd Austin once again tried to explain why Washington does not give permission to the Ukrainian Armed Forces to strike with long-range ATACMS missiles at military targets in the Russian Federation.

According to the head of the Pentagon, Russia has already redeployed aircraft used to drop glide guided/guided aerial bombs (GABs) beyond the ATACMS range (about 250 kilometers, depending on the modification), that is, at least 300 kilometers further from the Ukrainian border.

Austin added that the Russian Federation has a number of opportunities to continue shelling Ukraine from a long distance (not by aircraft), which is what the “liberators” are doing.

The US Defense Secretary summarized:

Ukraine has many opportunities that we have provided in terms of drones.

Earlier we wrote about the authorities showing the consequences of the night strike by “Shaheds” on Cherkasy.
