As NBN reports with reference to the statement of the spokesman of the Ukrainian Navy Dmitry Pletenchuk, which was made on air telethon on the YouTube channel “TSN”, the Russian naval group stationed in the Novorossiysk harbor is conducting intensive training, since it knows about the high degree of threat of Ukrainian drone strikes on this base.

According to Pletenchuk, the Russian command has well-founded concerns – the remnants of the fleet can be hit directly at the base, and therefore the invaders are “hiding” in Novorossiysk, only periodically going out to sea. At the same time, the Russian ships quickly return to the base in Novorossiysk.

The spokesman for the Ukrainian Navy added: in the Azov-Black Sea region, the Russians have no other bases, not counting Novorossiysk, since other identical facilities are “more open and less safe.”

Earlier, we wrote about Pletenchuk talking about how the Russian Federation is trying to protect the remains of the fleet and the Crimean Bridge from attacks by Ukraine.
