As NBN reports, citing Reuters sources, Chinese hackers managed to hack the system of the world's largest telecommunications corporation, Verizon and carry out a series of attacks on smartphones of representatives of the campaign headquarters of the Democratic candidate for US President Kamala Harris.
Verizon informed that their specialists are aware of an “attempt” at a cyberattack on American telecommunications companies aimed at collecting intelligence. The corporation added that it is working closely with the relevant American law enforcement agencies.
According to Stephen Cheung, who is the communications director for Trump's campaign, which was also allegedly attacked by the Chinese, Vice President Harris pushed China and Iran to hack American infrastructure, seeking to prevent the odious billionaire from returning to the White House.
