As NBN reports, citing material from the Arabic service of Sky News, several hours before Israel's “retaliatory strike,” Russian intelligence services informed Iran about the preparation of this attack.

According to Sky News, Moscow informed Tehran about the routes of movement of American and Israeli troops, allegedly providing this information “as part of cooperation with Iran,” and also to minimize escalation in the Middle East.

It should be noted that the Iranian government downplayed the scale of the consequences of the Israeli attack, claiming that only a few objects suffered very “limited damage.” At the same time, the IDF strikes were also directed at military bases located in the Iranian provinces of Ilam, Khuzestan and Tehran.

Earlier we wrote that the Russian Federation intends to launch two “civilian” Iranian satellites into orbit.
