As reported by NBN with reference to the material of the thematic publication Ukrainian Football, the former striker of Shakhtar and the national team Andriy Vorobyov has formed his own opinion about the outcome of the meeting of the Donetsk club with Dynamo Kyiv within the framework of the 11th stage of the Ukrainian Premier League.
The ex-footballer believes that the favorite of the national “classico” is Dynamo Kyiv, which, in accordance with its playing qualities, received a 6-point advantage (in the championship rating table) over Shakhtar, since the latter did not show their real level of play.
Vorobey is confident that despite the fact that the leaders of the Kievites did not come out from the first minutes against Roma, the amount of fatigue accumulated from the trip, as well as the lack of time for a full recovery, will definitely play into the hands of Shakhtar, even if the Donetsk players use the usual scheme of “their football”.
The former forward summarized:
It seems to me that Shakhtar will dominate, Dynamo will retreat, will try to play during interceptions on counterattacks… If Shakhtar plays for a long time on the opponent's half, there will be no sense. “The Miners” [for the sake of victory] need to play from the first minutes like they did in the last 15 minutes against “Arsenal”.
