UK intelligence reported on the advance of Putin's occupation forces in Chasov Yar. The agency reported that the Russian invaders most likely managed to cross the canal in the southern part of the city and approach the borders of the settlement, the NBN publication writes, citing the UK Ministry of Defence page on the social network X.
The report says that the Russians, probably in the central part of the canal area, made limited progress west of the canal in the eastern part of the city. At the same time, the Russian Armed Forces were unable to gain a foothold in the northern and central parts of the canal area, as fierce fighting is ongoing there.
British intelligence noted that the occupying army of the aggressor country had previously been unable to cross the canal due to large-scale defensive measures by the defenders.
It should be noted that last week the 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade announced that the invaders had managed to penetrate the Ukrainian Armed Forces' line of defense in the city area.
