The release of the new version of the Apple iOS 18.1 mobile operating system for “apple gadgets” is planned for the coming weeks.

As NBN reports with reference to Engadget material, the update will add several functions, the key ones of which are the integration of Apple Intelligence (artificial intelligence) into the operating system and support for AirPods Pro 2 as hearing aids devices.
In particular, iPhone and iPad owners will be able to use AirPods Pro 2 as hearing aids, thanks to the ability to amplify environmental sounds and set dynamic settings in real time. It should be noted that hearing aids are not as affordable as AirPods Pro 2 (price – from $ 249), since they cost thousands of dollars.
Apple Intelligence functionality will be a more noticeable innovation in iOS 18.1, as it will add services that allow for intelligent audio recording and see transcription of words in programs such as Mail, Notes and Pages. In addition, the AI service has tools for “literate writing”, with in-depth spelling and grammar checking.
