Getman on air “Hromadske Radio” drew attention to the fact that Putin's occupation army is not destroying Selidovo with artillery, as the enemy did with other cities in the Donetsk region – Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Soledar, writes “NBN”.
According to the military expert, Selidovo is located in a lowland and does not make tactical sense, but the Russians probably want to make a military base out of the city. The invaders are not completely destroying the settlement so that it can be used as a site for setting up warehouses and headquarters.
A reserve major of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the “second army of the world” intends to capture settlements from which it can control roads before the cold weather period, since it will be almost impossible to move across the fields in winter. Given the weather conditions, the enemy needs alternative routes to deliver everything it needs to conduct military operations.
