During a conversation with representatives of leading foreign media outlets, the Ukrainian leader said that Kyiv is counting on support from European countries if the United States of America reduces military aid, NBN reports.
According to guarantor, European countries are stronger and larger than the Russian Federation in terms of economy, weapons, and military segment. Zelensky noted that the plan is to ensure that Ukraine does not lose if Washington cuts aid.
At the same time, the head of state hopes that after the presidential elections in the United States, the country's leadership will not change its policy and will continue to support Ukrainians in the fight against the Russian occupiers. The president added that American policy is not only the White House, but also Congress, the Senate, and the support of two parties.
Also, during an interview with foreign journalists, Zelensky confirmed Kiev's request to Washington for long-range Tomahawk missiles. The head of Ukraine said that this was classified information.
