As reported by NBN with reference to the official Pentagon page, South Korean Defense Minister Kim Yong Hyun said that in exchange for sending infantry to the Russian Federation, Pyongyang, judging by everything, will be provided with technologies related to the establishment of production of tactical nuclear weapons.

According to Kim Yong Hyun, there is a high probability that the DPRK will request from Russia the transfer of “high” technological developments affecting various areas, primarily those related to tactical nuclear weapons, modification of intercontinental missiles, and the launch of reconnaissance satellites and equipping submarines with “ballistics”.

In addition, the DPRK will try to abandon its outdated technologies and equipment, demanding that the terrorist state replace its capacities, which will provoke “an increase in the escalation of security threats on the Korean Peninsula”.

However, the head of the South Korean defense department summarized:

…We saw from the Russian-Ukrainian war that the capabilities of the conventional weapons of the Russian Federation are not as formidable as we expected.

Earlier We wrote about how Seoul reacted to the Russian State Duma's ratification of the defense agreement with North Korea.
