The press service of the Airborne Assault Forces Command The Ukrainian Armed Forces reported that since the beginning of the operation in the Kursk region of the aggressor country, the Airborne Assault Troops units have destroyed 149 air assets, the NBN publication reports.
As of Thursday, October 31, the units of the Ukrainian Airborne Assault Troops during the offensive of the defenders in the border region of the Russian Federation “minus” 146 UAVs, including 97 reconnaissance drones of the Orlan-10, Zala, Cupercam type, 48 kamikaze drones “Shahed” and “Geran”. The fighters also landed 1 Orion UAV.
In addition, the Air Assault Forces in the Kursk region “demilitarized” 3 helicopters of Putin's occupation forces – 2 Ka-52 Alligator combat helicopters and 1 Mi-8 transport and combat helicopter.
Recall that Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin said that the invaders in the border region of the Russian Federation allegedly surrounded 2,000 fighters of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Syrsky denied the Russian leader's statement, reporting losses of manpower and equipment of the “second army in the world” in the region during the defenders' offensive.
