As reported by NBN with a link to the official Telegram channel Israel Defense Force, the above-described Israeli strike killed terrorist Izz al-Din Kassab.
As it became known, Kassab was a member of the “political” bureau of Hamas and was responsible for national cooperation in the organization, and also controlled the coordination and strategic-military ties between the group and identical terrorist formations in the Gaza Strip. The IDF notes that this leader of Islamist extremists was responsible for planning and carrying out attacks on the State of Israel.
In addition, Kassab remained one of the last high-ranking functionaries of the Hamas politburo, located in the Palestinian enclave. Also, at the same time as this leader (they were traveling in the same vehicle), his assistant, militant Ayman Ayesh, was killed, which can be seen in the video below:
