As reported by NBN with reference to information published in the official Telegram channel of the head of the parliamentary committee on finance, tax and customs policy Danylo Getmantsev, thanks to the process of “de-shadowing” that affected the liquor and vodka market, the state budget received an additional 3.3 billion hryvnias over 10 months.

According to Getmantsev, over the above-described period of time, the volume of excise tax paid on the produced liquor and vodka product group has significantly increased. We are talking about 1.5 billion hryvnia, or 26.7 percent more, if we compare it with the same period of the pre-war year 2021.

In addition, revenue from the sale of certified alcoholic beverages has noticeably increased by another 23.5 billion hryvnia (or 24.5 percent) – over the past months, the inflow of funds into the state budget reached 119.4 billion hryvnia, which is almost equal to the figures for the entire last year.
