As reported by NBN with reference to the material from Novyny.LIVE, according to economist Serhiy Yakubovsky, despite the war and large defense expenditures, the state budget has allocated a sufficient amount of funds for social payments.

According to Yakubovsky, for 2025 the authorities will set the subsistence minimum at UAH 3,000 per month, and also plan to raise the minimum wage to UAH 8,000. For this entire short list of needs, the state budget has provided for the allocation of 400 billion hryvnia.

The expert is confident that the accrual of benefits and pensions is guaranteed by the above-mentioned amount of funds, and even if the expenditure side is small, the government will take money from foreign investments.

Yakubovsky summed up somewhat uncertainly:

We cannot specify this now, because we do not know that we will ultimately receive such changes.

Earlier, our information portal wrote about the amount allocated by the state budget in 2024 for special pensions for prosecutors and judges.
